I’m so fucking sick of hearing dickheads complain about how hard it is to life in Australia and how so called “boat people” shouldn’t be allowed to live in country, or get help from the government if they are granted visa’s. So if your one of these people, please think about this:

1. These people are living in some of the most extreme poverty and dangerous places on earth, where walking outside could result in being shot or taking your kids to play soccer in the park could be infested with land mines. 

2. They spend thousands and thousands of dollars in order to be crammed into a boat for weeks with minimal food,water and shelter. 

3. All these people want is a better life for themselves and their families, isnt that what majority of Australians work so hard towards? 

As far as i see it these people have 10x more heart, intergrity and a better attitude then 50 of the people that live in this country and quite possibly deserve it more then you.

Try step into someone else’s shoes for once, don’t be so fucking greedy towards their people, everyone deserves to love their lifes
